About the Program
The English Language Institute (ELI) has provided quality English instruction to students from around the world for over 20 years. Students who have completed the ELI program have entered undergraduate and graduate programs at some of the most prestigious colleges and universities in the USA and the entire world. Our graduates have gone on to become leaders in their careers.
Mercer University's ELI offers these important features:
- Experienced, dedicated and professionally prepared faculty. All instructors have a minimum of a master's degree and many years of experience
- Intensive, 2-month sessions with various start dates throughout the year
- Average of 12 - 15 students per class
- Courses in grammar, writing, reading, listening/speaking, fluency, and test preparation
- Multi-level programs
- Computer language laboratory
