Mercer International Students Head Out into the Community!

Twenty Mercer students from 13 different countries visited Alexander II Elementary School during their International Week 2011 to deliver presentations about their individual countries. Thanks to all those students for helping make this educational moment a success!

Connections Cafe Continues to Brew Strong

After moving from the Connell Student Center to the faculty lounge in the Godsey Adminsitration Building, international coffee hour, "Connections Cafe" continues to be a place to meet and greet people from all over the world, including the United States, and enjoy a relaxing moment together. Connections Cafe is open every Friday afternoon from 3-5. All Mercer students are encouraged to stop by for a visit!

International Leaders in the Making: Mercer Students attend GILC

Six of Mercer's best and brightest attended the Georgia International Leadership conference the weekend of February 18-20 at Rock Eagle in Eatonton Georgia. They met up with almost 200 other internationally interested students studying in Georgia to share tips on becoming a global leader. Mercer students James Blay, Branden Ryan, Laurel McCormack, Kathleen Richardson, and Rodrigo Visbal hosted a panel discussion on "Hot Topics" for international students, which was well received.
