Have you considered leading a study abroad program? Could you incorporate study abroad into your course? Well, it's time to start planning for your faculty-led study abroad program!
If you are interested in leading a study abroad program this year, please know that the application process has changed just a bit!
- First, you should complete the intent form. This form takes just a few minutes and requires the basic information, but it lets the Office of International Programs know that you are intending to lead a program abroad.
- Second, you'll need to complete the faculty-led proposal packet. This packet is much more detailed. You should complete the packet, obtain the your chair's signautre, obtain your dean's signature, and then return it to the Office of International Programs. In this packet, you will find the proposal, detailed information of our policies and procedures, and a budget worksheet. We are here to assist you from the very beginning of this process, so please don’t hesitate to contact us!
In previous years, we have had programs travel to China, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Spain, St. Croix, the UAE, and many other exciting locations! Faculty may lead programs abroad in the summer or throughout the year, including during fall, winter, or spring break as part of the credit offered during a semester course.
When will your program depart?
The Office of International Programs is grateful to our faculty members who offer these opportunities for our students to ENGAGE THE WORLD! We look forward to receiving your proposal soon!
Please note that all programs traveling internationally are required to register with the Office of International Programs. If you have any questions about your international program or travel, please contact the Office of International Programs.
